I don't do this to look spiritual.
I do this to survive.
I don’t do this to be spiritual.
I do it so I don’t disappear.
Because sadness still lives in my body.
Quiet. Heavy. Lingering like smoke.
And if I don’t move it, it moves me.
These rituals?
They’re not for show.
They’re the thread I use to stitch myself back together…
a little each day.
I’ve been the woman who didn’t want to get out of bed.
Who stopped answering messages.
Who forgot how to laugh and thought maybe that part of her died.
I’ve been her. I still am her… some days.
But now?
Now I make tea like it’s a love letter to my nervous system.
I breathe like it’s the only thing anchoring me to this moment.
I write because if I don’t let the sadness out, it will make a home in my bones.
This is not about being happy.
This is about staying human.
About whispering to the ache, I see you, but I’m not letting you drive today.
I hope you find what softens the weight.
I hope you keep showing up, even when your chest is tight and your joy feels far away.
Because habits become rituals.
Rituals become anchors.
And anchors keep us steady in the storms we thought would swallow us whole.
You’re not weak for feeling it.
You’re powerful for staying.
